Ophel Atlas is a browser extension that transforms AI chat sessions from endless scrollable threads into structured, navigable documents. It runs entirely in your browser — no account, no server, no data upload — and activates automatically on any of the 15 supported AI platforms the moment you open them.

What problem does Ophel solve?

Long AI conversations are hard to navigate. You lose track of earlier conclusions, can’t jump between topics, and end up re-reading hundreds of messages. Ophel attaches a persistent side panel to the chat page that auto-generates a live outline, keeps all your conversations organized in folders, and stores your best prompts for instant reuse. The result is an AI workflow you can actually navigate.

Supported platforms

Ophel works on 15 AI chat platforms out of the box:

Key features

Live outline navigation

Ophel continuously parses the conversation structure and builds a navigable table of contents. Click any heading to jump to it instantly. Supports hierarchical collapse, bookmarks, and real-time word counts per section.

Conversation management

All your conversations from every supported platform are aggregated in one place. Organize them into folders and tags, search by keyword or syntax filter, and export to Markdown, JSON, or TXT.

Prompt library

Build a personal library of reusable prompts. Prompts support variable substitution with default values, option menus, or free-text input. One click inserts into the chat box; double-click sends immediately.

Global search

Press Ctrl+K (or Cmd+K on Mac) to open a unified search across your outline, conversations, prompts, and settings. Supports advanced syntax filters such as folder:, tag:, date:, and type:.

Reading enhancements

Mermaid diagram rendering, LaTeX formula display, Markdown formatting for user messages, scroll lock to prevent jump-to-bottom during generation, and automatic reading history restore when you return to a conversation.

Productivity tools

Theme customization with 24 presets, widescreen and zen modes, model lock per site, auto tab renaming, desktop completion notifications, and a customizable shortcut system.

Privacy and data

Ophel is privacy-first by design. No account is required to use it. Your settings, prompts, and conversation management data are stored in your browser using local storage. Ophel never collects or uploads conversation content.Optional permissions are requested only when a feature needs them, and you can revoke them at any time from the Permissions page in the extension. If you want multi-device sync, you can configure your own WebDAV server — Ophel never acts as a sync intermediary.
